Workplace Communication in Canada (WCC) Bridging Program Credential Professional Development Award Duration: 4 months (part-time) 16 Saturdays of engaging virtual sessions (4 hours each day, from 10 am to 2 pm) Starts August 15, 2026 Tuition-Free for eligible participants (A value of over $3000) Bespoke career-coaching and employment support ---------------------------------------- Strengthen Your Workplace Communication for Success in Canada Clear communication is essential for career success in Canada, and workplace expectations here may differ from what you’re used to. The Workplace Communication in Canada (WCC) Bridging Program supports internationally trained immigrants in developing the professional and intercultural communication skills needed to succeed in Canadian workplaces. If you have completed post-secondary education outside of Canada and want to strengthen how you communicate at work — in meetings, interviews, presentations, and team settings, this program is designed to help you adapt and move forward. You can complete the program fully online in as little as four months and earn a Professional Development Award (PDA) from The Chang School upon successful completion. What You Will Learn Through practical, hands-on learning, you’ll develop skills to communicate effectively and professionally in Canadian workplace settings, including: * Effective listening and speaking * Teamwork, interviewing, and workplace presentations * Navigating cultural differences and workplace expectations * Building confidence, initiative, and professionalism at work Learning is applied through projects and presentations based on real Canadian workplace scenarios. Eligibility Criteria You may qualify if you: * Have completed post-secondary education outside of Canada * Are currently living in Ontario as a naturalized Canadian citizen, permanent resident, protected person, refugee claimant, provincial nominee, or an approved temporary resident (including individuals under emergency travel measures such as CUAET) * Meet minimum English language proficiency requirements (CLBPT 6, IELTS 6.0, or equivalent) Tuition is fully covered for eligible participants through provincial funding provided by the Ontario Bridging Participant Assistance Program (OBPAP).
