JUST HR is recruiting for an Office Administrator / HR Manager to join a well-established, privately held organization with a strong people-first culture and long-term employee base. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing office administration with human resources in a hands-on environment. Reporting directly to the President, the Office Administrator / HR Manager will be responsible for ensuring the office runs efficiently while supporting the company's day-to-day HR administration and employee experience. Responsibilities • Support the onboarding of new employees by coordinating orientation, paperwork, and training schedules. Coordinate recruitment activities, including posting job advertisements, scheduling interviews, preparing offer letters, and assisting with onboarding. • Maintain employee files, HR records, and confidential personnel documentation • Respond to employee inquiries regarding company policies, benefits, vacation, and general HR procedures • Assist with maintaining HR policies and ensuring compliance with company procedures and applicable employment legislation • Track employee training, certifications, and performance review schedules • Oversee the day-to-day operations of the office to ensure a professional, organized, and welcoming environment • Order and maintain office supplies, equipment, and kitchen inventory • Coordinate office vendors, building maintenance, couriers, and service providers • Plan and coordinate company meetings, staff lunches, holiday celebrations, employee recognition programs, and other company events • Arrange travel, meeting logistics, and provide administrative support to the President and leadership team • Prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other administrative documents • Support special projects and process improvements • Foster a positive and collaborative office culture while serving as a welcoming point of contact for employees and visitors Requirements • 3 to 5+ years of experience in office administration, HR administration, executive support, or a combination of these areas • Previous experience coordinating HR processes such as onboarding, employee records, or recruitment administration is preferred • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a customer service mindset • High level of professionalism and discretion when handling confidential information • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams • Experience coordinating meetings, events, vendors, and office operations • Experience working in a small or mid-sized business is an asset • CPHR designation is an asset but is not required Remuneration Base salary: $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience Discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance Extended health benefits RRSP matching program Full-time, Monday to Friday on-site schedule in Richmond, BC **Only candidates eligible to work in Canada will be considered** Just HR is a specialized Human Resources recruitment and search firm with seven practice areas: General HR, Compensation & Benefits, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Organizational Development, Labour & Employee Relations, HRIS, Health & Safety.
