Who You Are The Design Engineer role is responsible for the design, development, and continuous improvement of K-Hart’s farm equipment. This role focuses on creating practical, reliable, and innovative solutions that perform in real-world farming conditions. You enjoy working hands-on with equipment, translating ideas into functional designs, and collaborating with manufacturing and test teams to bring products to life. You are detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and motivated by seeing your designs perform in the field. Key Responsibilities: The Duties and Responsibilities of the Design Engineer role are focused on supporting the development and improvement of K-Hart’s products: Develop system and component designs to meet set objectives of performance, cost, durability, etc. Develop CAD models, drawings, specifications, schematics, and other supporting information. Perform Engineering analysis of designs using hand calculations and simulation software(s) to confirm design capabilities. Select materials, manufacturing processes and vendors. Design and support prototype(s) build and testing. Support production build. Support development of product and service-related publications. Able to travel 10% of the time for 1-2 weeks at a time. Other duties as assigned. What Sets You Apart?
