Role Description We are hiring a Blockchain Specialist to support blockchain research, ecosystem analysis, reporting, and project coordination across digital asset and Web3 markets. This is a full-time, paid remote role based in Canada focused on blockchain technology, crypto ecosystems, and decentralized financial infrastructure. The Blockchain Specialist will research blockchain networks, monitor ecosystem developments, review digital asset trends, and support initiatives related to DeFi, smart contracts, tokenized assets, stablecoins, Web3 infrastructure, and crypto-native applications. This role is ideal for someone with strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, Web3, fintech, and emerging digital systems. Responsibilities • Research blockchain networks, cryptocurrency markets, Web3 platforms, DeFi protocols, stablecoins, and tokenized assets • Monitor ecosystem developments across blockchain infrastructure, smart contracts, wallets, exchanges, protocols, and digital asset products • Track market trends, network activity, token performance, regulatory updates, and emerging Web3 use cases • Prepare blockchain research summaries, ecosystem reports, market updates, project notes, and digital asset intelligence materials • Support analysis of decentralized applications, on-chain activity, protocol growth, security considerations, and blockchain adoption trends • Review blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, market data sources, public reports, and industry news • Collaborate with team members on blockchain research, digital asset strategy, reporting, and Web3-focused projects • Maintain organized research files, network trackers, protocol notes, ecosystem watchlists, and blockchain intelligence resources Qualifications • Strong interest in blockchain technology, cryptocurrency, digital assets, Web3, DeFi, stablecoins, and tokenized finance • Familiarity with blockchain networks, crypto markets, digital asset research, smart contracts, wallets, or Web3 platforms • Understanding of token ecosystems, decentralized applications, exchanges, liquidity, market cycles, risk factors, and digital finance concepts • Familiarity with blockchain explorers, crypto analytics tools, DeFi dashboards, TradingView, or market data platforms is a plus • Strong research, analytical, organizational, and communication skills • Ability to explain blockchain trends, ecosystem developments, and digital asset insights clearly • Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while managing multiple research priorities • Previous experience in blockchain research, crypto research, fintech, market analysis, operations, or Web3 projects is helpful Benefits • Remote work environment • Exposure to blockchain technology, cryptocurrency markets, digital assets, DeFi, and Web3 ecosystems • Opportunity to build experience across blockchain research, ecosystem intelligence, reporting, and digital asset strategy • Collaborative, innovation-focused, and crypto-native environment • Opportunities for professional development and growth Compensation Salary range: CAD85,000 - CAD100,000 per year depending on experience
