Résumé du poste
We are seeking a qualified Foot Care Nurse to provide routine and specialized foot care services to residents. The successful candidate will assess and treat residents according to their individual needs, provide foot health education, maintain accurate documentation in resident charts, and communicate relevant care recommendations to staff. Services are provided on-site at scheduled clinics, with follow-up visits typically occurring every 6 to 8 weeks. This will be contract position - Fees charged to residents shall be subject to the approval of both the Facility and the Professional. Current fee is 30$ per resident for a routine visit. Applicants must be a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) and provide evidence from their licensing body confirming that their license is current, active, and in good standing. Applicants must also be a registered Chiropodist in good standing with the College of Chiropodists of Ontario, as well as hold a recognized Advanced Foot Care Certification. Candidates must provide proof of professional liability insurance and be able to supply and maintain all required foot care equipment in accordance with infection prevention and control standards. The Home will provide treatment space, access to relevant resident information, and scheduling support.
