What You’ll Do: Safely perform tasks, including heavy lifting in a multi-temperature environment (e.g. fridge/freezer) while maintaining food safety standards; Build pallet with finished product; Operate electric pallet truck in a safe manner; Receive trailers when they return and unload cases/materials; maintain record of all returns such as cases, pallets, products, etc.; Use computer to produce label and attach to materials, cases, bales or other containers; Process all required paperwork and maintain adequate records for reporting and tracking such as recording amounts of new product received on a daily basis; Inspect products received to identify leaks or other minor defects; segregate substandard/defective product for disposal/destruction and record information related to damaged/wasted product; Provide general clean up and assistance in other areas of shipping/receiving; clean up includes sweeping, washing floors/walls, dumping of wasted product, picking up trash, etc.; Perform other duties and activities that may be assigned. What You Need to Get the Job Done: High School Diploma required or a combination of equivalent experience. Previous Shipper Receiver experience ideally from a food/beverage manufacturing environment Good verbal and written communication skills to communicate effectively with others in a respectful, positive and collaborative manner Comfortable performing repetitive tasks Extended periods of standing, and other physically demanding conditions (i.e. lifting up to 25kg) Able to work as a team member Status: Currently Hiring We thank all candidates for their interest in Kawartha Dairy Limited, however, only those selected for interview will be contacted. The Production Palletizer is responsible for building pallets, operating electric pallet trucks, and managing the receipt and unloading of trailers. They must also maintain accurate records, inspect products for defects, and ensure the facility remains clean and safe.

Candidates must have a High School Diploma or equivalent experience, with preference given to those with previous shipping and receiving experience in a food or beverage environment. The role requires the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 25kg and standing for extended periods.
