Full Cycle Bookkeeper & Administrative Coordinator Markham, Ontario | Full Time | On Site $50,000 to $55,000 The Opportunity Kellow Recruiting is recruiting on behalf of an established and growing metal fabrication company in Markham that is expanding its operation and investing in new equipment, technology and processes. Supporting customers across multiple industries, the company provides high volume production and custom metal fabrication in a modern, exceptionally clean and well organized manufacturing environment. With continued growth underway, they are looking for a Full Cycle Bookkeeper & Administrative Coordinator to become an important part of their small, collaborative office team. Accounting comes first, but this isn't a role where you'll be confined to one function. You'll own important day to day accounting responsibilities while also supporting administration and operations, improving processes and taking on more as you grow with the business. Benefits: Extended health, dental and vision | RSP match up to 2% | Spending account What a Typical Week Looks Like You'll keep the accounting side organized through AP, AR, reconciliations, payroll, HST, collections and month end support. Once those priorities are covered, you might help with shipping documentation, warehouse administration, another office requirement or improving an existing SOP. The common thread is ownership: see what needs doing, get the details right and help keep the business moving. What You'll Be Responsible For Full Cycle Accounting: AP & AR | invoicing | bank and credit card reconciliations | GL and journal entries | payroll Month End & Compliance: Month end support | HST/remittances | financial records | year end/external accountant support Cash & Working Capital: Receivables | collections | payables visibility | cash flow support Processes & SOPs: Follow established procedures | identify gaps | improve processes | help develop and document new SOPs Administration & Operations: General administration | shipping and warehouse support | documentation | assist other departments as required What We're Looking For 3+ years of practical bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong full cycle accounting fundamentals QuickBooks experience and strong Excel skills Experience with month end, payroll and HST Exceptional attention to detail and organization Comfortable learning new accounting and ERP systems Proactive, assertive and able to take ownership Process minded, with an interest in improving how things are done Personable and comfortable working closely within a small team Happy wearing multiple hats and learning different parts of a business Experience in manufacturing, fabrication, construction, distribution or another operational small business would be an asset.
