About the Opportunity Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Tax Analyst to join their Canadian Tax Team. This is an excellent opportunity for a tax professional with strong corporate tax experience to support tax compliance, reporting, audit activities, and process improvement initiatives within a large and complex business environment. Key Responsibilities Coordinate the transfer pricing reporting process, including reviewing submissions for completeness and accuracy. Prepare Canadian tax schedules, transfer pricing reports, and support the execution of intercompany agreements. Prepare corporate income tax returns and ensure supporting documentation is complete and audit-ready. Review and/or prepare tax provision entries and forecasts for current and deferred taxes. Support indirect and commodity tax reporting and remittances. Assist with tax audits by coordinating information requests and preparing responses for tax authorities. Conduct tax research and document technical tax positions. Support business and system improvement initiatives, including automation and process enhancement projects. Guide on tax implications related to business decisions. Mentor and support junior team members as required. Required Qualifications Professional accounting designation (CPA or equivalent). Minimum 1 year of dedicated Canadian corporate tax and/or commodity tax experience. 8+ years of accounting or finance experience, preferably within a large corporate environment. Strong financial analysis and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel. Excellent organizational, communication, and business writing skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with SAP. Experience with data automation tools and process improvement initiatives. Previous experience supporting tax audits and compliance activities. Additional Information Business casual dress code. Interviews will be conducted virtually via Microsoft Teams. No travel or driving required. Initial onsite training period with transition to a primarily hybrid work arrangement.
