Kelly’s customer, an established full-service law firm in Mississauga specializing in various forms of debt recovery including both secured and unsecured collections, are looking for Licensed Paralegals to join their team. Then you will be interested in joining our team. RESPONSIBIITIES: Preparation and drafting of Statement of Claims. Preparation and drafting of Default Judgments. Preparation of Motions, AOS, Affidavits of Enforcements. Garnishment follow ups. Writ filings. Calls to debtors with a view to resolving outstanding judgment debts. REQUIREMENTS: Must be a licensed Paralegal with the Law Society of Upper Canada and have a current active status. At least one to two years paralegal experience preferred. Ability to adapt easily to custom built software. Strong Verbal and Written Communication skills Excellent Organizational skills Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office. Ability to work with a team. Targets driven and self-motivated. PERKS: Work in a corporate environment - Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm. $45k Salary with benefits after 3-month probationary period.
