Securities Operations Analyst 📍 Toronto, ON (Hybrid) 💲 Up to $34.50/hour + 4% Vacation Pay 📅 Contract Until August 16, 2027 (Extension & Conversion Potential) 🕘 Monday to Friday | 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM Are you looking to grow your career in Capital Markets Operations with one of Canada's leading financial institutions? We are seeking a Securities Operations Analyst to join a high-performing Global Operations team supporting Fixed Income trading activities. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with 2+ years of experience in settlements, reconciliations, payments, or securities operations who are looking to deepen their knowledge of fixed income markets and collateral settlements. What You'll Be Doing As part of a collaborative team, you will support critical operational processes related to Fixed Income and Collateral Settlement activities, including: ✅ Processing settlements for fixed income trading activities ✅ Reconciling internal accounts, depository positions, and cash balances ✅ Managing settlement payments and cash movements ✅ Processing principal and interest settlements within Loan IQ ✅ Supporting collateral, margin, repo, and securities lending transactions ✅ Investigating and resolving trade, cash, and depository discrepancies ✅ Working with internal stakeholders to ensure service levels and operational accuracy are maintained ✅ Participating in process improvement initiatives, testing, and project support activities What We're Looking For Must-Have Qualifications ✔ 1-2 years of Capital Markets Operations experience ✔ Experience with settlements, payments, and reconciliations ✔ Knowledge of Canadian and/or US Fixed Income settlements ✔ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities ✔ Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively within established SLAs ✔ Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills Nice to Have ➕ SWIFT messaging experience (MT103 / MT202) ➕ Exposure to Repo, Securities Lending, or Collateral Management ➕ Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or other financial services certification ➕ Knowledge of Fixed Income transaction lifecycle Why Apply? ⭐ Long-term contract opportunity through August 2027 ⭐ Potential for extension and permanent conversion ⭐ Gain valuable experience within Capital Markets and Fixed Income Operations ⭐ Exposure to collateral management, settlements, and securities processing ⭐ Join a supportive team environment with strong learning opportunities ⭐ Hybrid work model in downtown Toronto Ideal Background We're particularly interested in candidates who have recently worked in: Securities Operations Capital Markets Operations Trade Settlements Cash & Securities Reconciliations Custody Operations Fixed Income Operations Investment Operations Back Office Capital Markets 📩 Apply today if you're looking to build your career in Capital Markets Operations and gain valuable experience supporting Fixed Income trading activities.
