We are seeking an experienced Field Supervisor to join our Underground Division. You will lead operations, direct site crews, and manage projects onsite. Our field supervisors are among the industry’s best and play a crucial role in the company’s overall success. Our Ideal Candidate: * Experience: Has 5+ years of experience in the sub-division, commercial, or multi-family site construction industry in a supervisor role. * Technical Skills: Can read blueprints, site plans, shoot grade, plan, coordinate, train, and prioritize work activities efficiently. Familiar with water and sewer specifications in Calgary. Experience with Site Docs and Microsoft Outlook is considered an asset. * Communication: Will liaise with clients, consultants, and project managers informally to review scope changes, force account items, and priority shifts. * Problem-Solving: Remains level-headed and calm when problems arise, able to think on the fly and resolve issues quickly. * Budget Management: Works closely with Project and Operations Managers to monitor expenditure and ensure it remains within budget. * Safety: Champions safety initiatives, has working knowledge of OH&S legislation, enforces safety policies, prepares and delivers toolbox meetings, and completes FLHAs. * Leadership: Has the proven ability to lead and motivate crews, ensuring project success through clear instructions, coaching, feedback, and building a sense of community. * Administrative Tasks: Completes daily crew timesheets, including equipment logs. * Valid License: Holds a valid Class 5 license with a clean driver’s abstract.
