Kidco Construction is currently seeking a qualified and safety-oriented Journeyman Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team of Field Mechanics. Our Ideal Candidate: * Certified Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician with 5+ years of experience repairing heavy construction equipment. * You have field experience repairing heavy-duty earthmoving equipment, like dozers, excavators, graders, loaders, packers, rock trucks, scrapers, and skid-steers, with brands like CAT, Komatsu, and John Deere. * Experience with CAT SIS, CAT ET, John Deere Service Advisor * You are legally allowed to work in Canada. * You possess a valid Class 5 license with air endorsement and a clean driver’s abstract. * You have your own vehicle. Weekly Schedule: * Monday - Friday: 10 - 12 hours/day * Saturday: 8 - 10 hours/day * Sundays and long weekends off What We Offer: Competitive Compensation: * Wage: $45 - $60 based on experience * Overtime Pay: After 8 hours each day and 44 hours per week * Vacation/Holiday Pay: 9.6% of each cheque * Full Benefits Package: Provided by Open Circle, covering dental, vision, health care, prescription medication, and life insurance. * Enhanced RRSP Matching Program: Contribute to your self-directed RSP and receive a 100% matching contribution from Kidco, maximizing your retirement savings.
