Early Childhood Educator - Level 2

RESPONSIBILITIES * Support the implementation of an Emergent Curriculum that meets the developmental needs of children. * Foster children's emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development. * Create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment. * Complete daily documentation, health checks, and classroom records. * Maintain licensing, health, and safety standards. * Support daily routines, transitions, and classroom activities. * Collaborate with families and external professionals, including Speech and Occupational Therapists. * Work collaboratively with team members to ensure high-quality care and education. * Participate in ongoing training and team meetings as required. QUALIFICATIONS * Valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification. * Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR Level B. * Current Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check (within the last 3 months). * Strong communication and interpersonal skills. * Reliable, flexible, and team-oriented. * Experience working with toddlers is considered an asset for Toddler Educator positions. * Ability to lift and/or support up to 45 lbs. The educator will support the implementation of an emergent curriculum to foster the emotional, social, cognitive, and physical development of children. They are also responsible for maintaining a safe, nurturing environment and completing daily documentation and health checks.

Candidates must hold a valid Alberta Early Childhood Educator Certification and current Standard Child Care First Aid & CPR Level B. A current Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Check is also required.
