This is an excellent opportunity for a student to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative innovation environment, working with multiple levels of the organization. The successful candidate will act as a team player and develop practical skills in project management, research support, and communications. Research Management and Process Support * Support the coordination and refinement of research programs and internal processes * Assist with project planning, tracking, and documentation * Help facilitate project meetings and prepare status updates for stakeholders * Support teams to meet goals and timelines * Assist in identifying and documenting project risks and issues * Support the organization of administrative research requirements (e.g., Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs), proposals, ethics approvals) * Help coordinate onboarding of research students and project leads Knowledge Translation * Support the communications team in developing communications materials for the Rocket Discovery Centre * Help communicate research outcomes to internal and external audiences * Assist in creating knowledge translation materials, including reports, presentations, and infographics * Support the organization of workshops, seminars, and events to share research insights * Help document and profile innovations and the people involved in projects Research Discovery and Evaluation * Assist with analyzing department data and trends to identify opportunities for research and development * Support coordination of qualitative and quantitative evaluation * Assist with data collection * Help analyze data using descriptive statistics to evaluate the impact of research initiatives * Support the preparation of evaluation reports and summaries of research findings More About You: Candidates must be currently enrolled in a post-secondary program (e.g., health sciences, business, engineering, social sciences, or a related field) and eligible for a co-op work term , in addition to: * Interest in health service delivery, research, and/or innovation * Enjoys organizing work and using technology to be productive * Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction * Developing organizational, problem-solving, and time-management skills * Ability to communicate effectively, empathize with others, and be self-aware * Comfortable working with diverse groups and collaborating as part of a team * Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Copilot, and other apps in the O365 suite (an asset) * Detail-oriented, organized, and able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines * Strong written and visual communication skills We invite students interested in this opportunity to submit a cover letter and resume through our KidsAbility Career Centre.
