renovation carpenter

Kildare Renovations is seeking an experienced Renovation Carpenter to join our renovation team in St. John's, NL. The successful candidate must have no less than 5 years of residential construction and renovation experience, with the ability to complete framing, repairs, drywall, and detailed finishing work while maintaining high-quality standards. Duties: * Complete residential carpentry work including framing, repairs, renovations, and finishing. * Install interior features including doors, trim, baseboards, casing, mouldings, and stair components. * Perform drywall installation, repairs, and finishing as required. * Read and interpret drawings, plans, and site measurements. * Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials. * Complete framing tasks including walls, floors, and structural repairs. * Install windows, doors, hardware, and other interior components. * Complete finish carpentry with attention to detail and accuracy. * Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. * Work closely with Project Leads and team members to complete projects on schedule. * Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Skills & Requirements: * Minimum 5 years of residential construction or renovation experience. * Strong experience in both rough and finish carpentry. * Experience with framing, drywall, trim work, and interior finishing. * Ability to read drawings and take accurate measurements. * Proficient in the safe use of carpentry tools and equipment. * Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Valid driver's licence. * Positive work references required. * Must pass a background check. * English required.
