Job Description Reporting to the Manager, Employee Experience (People and Culture), the Filing Clerk position will be responsible for filing, updating and maintaining personnel files. The hourly pay range for this position is $22.83/hr CAD- $25.22/hr CAD Filing Clerk duties and responsibilities: Create and maintain personnel files for employees with their digital and physical personnel files Track and manage all the incoming digital and paper copies for filing and distribution Support document and digitization requests from the People and Culture team Tracking and reporting on filing progress Manage file access requests and keep logs Maintain an efficient filing system Adhere to policies and procedures for personal data protection Monitor and manage inventory of files and supplies; report shortages and replenish as needed As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for the following: Verbal, written and electronic communication regarding the file room and personnel files Perform audit of files and reconcile between digital and paper copies of personnel documents Qualifications: Requires post-secondary level education and / or administration experience with digital personnel files and organizing to prepare for uploading to an HRIS system Strong time management, organizational and analytical skills Demonstrated ability to fulfill responsibilities with a high regard for detail and accuracy Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite – specifically Excel, along with a willingness and ability to learn other software programs as required Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to adapt to evolving priorities
