We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Technician (Truck/Trailer Mechanic) to join our Fleet Repair/Maintenance facility in Calgary. As part of our small and cohesive team, you will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical, air, hydraulic and electrical system defects and maintenance and repair to our fleet of company owned trucks and trailers as well as those of our Owner Operators. We offer a safe and respectful work environment where you can apply your skills to a variety of technical tasks. Our shop offers day shift schedules Monday – Friday. Position Requirements: * Preference to Journeyman (or Red Seal) On Road Technicians * Experienced Journeyman Trailer Technician position available (willing to consider experienced apprentice applications with a desire to learn & work on Trailers – We support Apprenticeships, ask me how!) * Available to work a day shift (40 hours/week) Monday - Friday * Experience repairing and servicing a variety of class 1 equipment (both trucks, trailers & HD Equipment) * Certified CVIP Technician preferred (or experienced, and willingness, to obtain) * Ability to work in a team environment * Must have own tools and safety boots * Safety first approach to work & commitment to continuous learning * Commitment to continuous learning * Must have own vehicle as public transportation is not available * Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test (as this position is safety sensitive it falls under Kleysen’s Controlled Substance Policy) Why choose Kleysen?
