As our team continues to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Estimator to join us full-time. Position Overview The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate and timely estimates for roofing projects, including re-roofing, repairs, maintenance, and new construction. This role involves reviewing drawings and specifications, conducting site visits, calculating material and labour requirements, and working closely with project managers, customers, and suppliers. Prepare detailed cost estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial roofing projects Review plans, tenders, and specifications to determine scope and requirements Conduct site visits to assess project conditions and measurements Prepare material take-offs and labour calculations Request and evaluate pricing from suppliers and subcontractors Prepare bid packages, proposals, and supporting documentation Maintain organized project files and estimate records Collaborate with the project management team to ensure accurate job costing Assist with change orders, budget updates, and project forecasting Communicate professionally with clients, vendors, and internal teams Estimating experience in roofing or construction (commercial roofing experience an asset) Strong understanding of roofing systems (flat, shingle, metal, commercial membranes, etc.) Ability to read and interpret drawings, specs, tender documents, and site reports Proficiency with estimation software, MS Excel, and digital tools Excellent math, analytical, and organizational skills Strong communication skills and attention to detail Valid driver’s license; ability to visit job sites as required Permanent full-time position Competitive wages Benefits package (health/dental) Retirement package (RRSP/TFSA) Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional development and advancement Work with a reputable, established roofing contractor Full-time Edmonton March 10, 2026 Export as PDF
