Senior Software Engineer - Front end

About the role: Kong is looking for highly talented JavaScript/Typescript and Vue engineers to help create scalable, robust, responsive and accessible user interfaces and components packages for our applications. As a Frontend Engineer, you will be instrumental in enhancing our Konnect product/platform. Your role involves close collaboration with fellow frontend engineers, backend engineers and the product team to deliver scalable features, ultimately enhancing the application's user experience. What you'll be doing: Working on major Konnect features like Catalog and Context Mesh. Building highly visible Konnect features using latest frontend frameworks like Vue and TypeScript Collaborate with design and build reusable, scalable, responsive UI components Work with engineers, product managers and designers to build UI functionalities. Write tests (unit, component, regression, smoke) using Playwright, Vitest and other modern testing frameworks with great code coverage. Peer reviewing team members' work. Mentor other team members. What you'll bring: 5+ years working in a team to develop, deliver, and maintain complex software solutions. Expertise in Vue.js, Typescript, and Javascript. Experience developing and supporting a large scale SaaS platform. Expertise in Rest API design Expertise in System Design (componentization, reusability) Understanding of and development with git, CI/CD patterns with Github Actions and other platforms. Expertise in test-driven development and automated testing. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Develop scalable, responsive, and accessible user interfaces for the Konnect platform using Vue and TypeScript. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build reusable UI components and ensure high code quality through rigorous testing and peer reviews.

Requires over 5 years of experience in complex software development with expertise in Vue.js, TypeScript, and SaaS platforms. Candidates must be proficient in system design, REST APIs, and automated testing frameworks.
