Our International Corporate Tax group’s primary focus is to create flexible structures that help reduce corporate and project-level taxation while meeting the business, legal, and financing needs of our clients. The group focuses on a wide range of inbound and outbound taxation issues affecting business operations conducted in Canada, the US, and abroad. As a member of this team you will work closely with KPMG Management on a range of advisory and compliance functions, and corporate tax planning initiatives. What you will do Work with Managers, Senior Managers, and Partners on client engagements Take the lead on the preparation of tax returns Conduct and present tax research Advise on planning opportunities, tax minimization strategies and compliance issues Opportunity to develop and assist with tax planning strategies for our clients What you bring to the role Minimum 2 years’ experience in a public accounting firm Successfully passed the CFE and has obtained, or is in the process of obtaining, a CPA designation; alternatively, possesses a Canadian law degree or a Master of Taxation from a Canadian university, combined with 1-2 years of relevant experience in a public accounting firm Currently enrolled or willing to enroll in the In-Depth tax course Excellent written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated leadership and team building skills Strong time-management abilities and self-motivation Demonstrates the ability to handle multiple priorities Is keen to assist in the development and implementation of tax planning strategies for various clients Willingly takes on and learns new skills by researching a wide variety of tax issues Excellent client service skills with an aptitude to understand the clients' business and maintain strong client relationships Providing you with the support you need to be at your best Our Values, The KPMG Way Integrity, we do what is right | Excellence, we never stop learning and improving | Courage, we think and act boldly | Together, we respect each other and draw strength from our differences | For Better, we do what matters KPMG in Canada is a proud equal opportunities employer and we are committed to creating a respectful, inclusive and barrier-free workplace that allows all of our people to reach their full potential. Exigences

Candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in a public accounting firm and hold or be pursuing a CPA designation, or possess a Canadian law degree or Master of Taxation. Strong communication, leadership, and time-management skills are required, along with enrollment in the In-Depth tax course.
