Overview KPMG Linguistic Services in Montreal is looking to fill a Translator position on its External Translation team (financial documents and other materials). This is a full-time, permanent remote position. Candidates must have at least three years of translation experience, primarily in the fields of accounting and finance, acquired within a structured professional environment or an accounting firm. What you will do Translate various financial documents from English to French, including financial statements, management reports, management’s discussion and analysis of fund performance, and sustainability reports. Conduct terminology research and contribute to the team’s terminology database. Meet deadlines and adhere to high quality standards. Manage large-scale projects. Collaborate with team members. What you bring to the role Bachelor’s degree in Translation or equivalent diploma Knowledge of accounting and auditing standards Excellent capacity for learning Great research skills Strong sense of quality and customer service Attention to detail Ability to manage stress and pressure Positive attitude and ability to work as a team Project management ability Good knowledge of technical tools Autonomy and flexibility Openness, frankness and clarity in communications Advanced knowledge of translation tools (LogiTerm, Trados/Studio, Systran), an asset Member of OTTIAQ or an equivalent organization, an asset The selected candidate must demonstrate excellent proficiency in both French and English, with the ability to translate complex financial documents while adhering to KPMG’s high quality standards, and collaborate effectively with a diverse team in a structured professional environment working on English-language files.
