Pulpwood / Log Truck Owner Operator

As part of Kruger Publication Papers division, Corner Brook Pulp and Paper Limited is a quality leader in the manufacture of newsprint, and holds the Sustainable Forest Initiative Certification as well as being self-sufficient on energy between Deer Lake Power Generation, Steam Power and Steam Recovery. We aim to be fully reliant on clean energy. Overview Corner Brook Pulp and Paper is currently seeking applications for new Owner Operators in our Woodlands division. Qualifications The successful candidate must have: Class 1 license Previous experience operating off highway is preferred Previous experience long haul driving A proven safety track record and clean drivers abstract Candidates must be available to work shifts including day and night shifts, longer hours, and be away from home when required Equipment Specifications Truck: Tandem tractor to haul a minimum of 57,200kg GVW Lightweight quadaxle trailer spec’d to haul shot-gun pulpwood and logs, 9’ wide trailer Why work at Kruger? The successful candidate will operate a log truck as part of the Woodlands division at Corner Brook Pulp and Paper. They will be responsible for transporting pulpwood and logs safely and efficiently.

Candidates must possess a Class 1 license and have previous experience in off highway and long haul driving. A proven safety track record and a clean driver's abstract are also required.
