QA Lead

Job Summary We are looking for an experienced QA Lead with strong expertise in Capital Markets and Wealth Management Technology (WMT) to support a large-scale transformation initiative focused on building enterprise data hubs and integrating them with multiple vendor systems. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in end-to-end testing across UI, API, and database layers, along with strong automation expertise using Playwright with Python. The candidate will be responsible for leading QA activities, defining test strategies, coordinating with offshore/onshore teams, and ensuring high-quality delivery across complex integration platforms. Key Responsibilities Lead QA activities for enterprise transformation and data hub integration projects. Understand and validate end-to-end UI–API–DB workflows and system integrations. Design and execute test strategies, test plans, and test cases for functional and integration testing. Perform API testing, backend testing, and data validation/comparison across multiple systems. Develop and maintain automation frameworks using Playwright with Python. Coordinate with business analysts, developers, product owners, and vendor teams to ensure quality deliverables. Identify defects, track resolutions, and ensure timely closure of issues. Support SIT, regression, integration, and UAT testing activities. Mentor offshore QA team members and provide technical guidance. Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives. Required Skills & Experience 7–10+ years of QA experience with at least 2+ years in a QA Lead role. Strong domain expertise in Capital Markets and Wealth Management Technology (WMT). Hands-on experience with UI, API, and database testing. Strong experience in integration testing and data hub validation. Experience with backend testing and data comparison across systems. Automation testing experience using Playwright with Python. Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or Swagger. Strong SQL knowledge and ability to validate backend data. Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments. Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills. Nice to Have Experience working with banking or financial clients. Exposure to cloud platforms and CI/CD pipelines. Knowledge of ETL/data migration testing. Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or Test Management tools. Preferred Candidate Profile Strong leadership and coordination skills. Ability to work in fast-paced enterprise transformation programs. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Experience managing offshore QA teams and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders.
