We have an immediate need for an Area Sales Manager to cover the greater Toronto territory. Growth potential within organization and working directly with great clients in the water industry Title: Area Sales Manager Territory: Toronto/Kitchener Ontario area throughout Southwestern Ontario. This position is based out of a home office. Travel within Territory: 80-100% Salary: $90K to $110K (CAD) plus Commissions Responsibilities Maintain an existing customer base, develop new business and manage a small sales and service team. Manage existing accounts via direct onsite service and technical support Work directly with customer operations, maintenance and management Develop and maintain strong customer/client relationship Responsibility include consultive services on Water Treatment chemical and equipment applications in a variety of industries and processes Sales Growth and new customer development responsibilities Manage and support Tech Services in smaller accounts in the territory Respond to any customer emergency Able to multitask and manage a large account base. Develop quotes and proposals for lateral and new sales Communicate effectively with larger customers understanding their business needs Report direct to Regional Manager Manager small team of Tech Services and Sellers – 2 -5 direct reports. Assist in new business growth, quote preparation, sales growth. Troubleshot issues with team Help develop direct reports Assist in meeting growth goals of individuals and team. Report directly to Regional Manager Qualifications Technical Degree or CWT Preferred 10 plus Years Sales or Technical Experience “In-House” Training as needed to meet objectives Field Training with other reps to meet objectives Must have a Class G license in good standing. Company Vehicle is provided. Physical and Mental requirements: Being able to do the following in a safe and effective manner. • Climbing, ascending, and descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and industrial equipment,

Exigences
Candidates must possess a Technical Degree or a minimum of two years of sales or technical experience, along with mechanical aptitude and familiarity with electrical and plumbing basics related to feed equipment. A Class B license is mandatory for this role.
