What You’ll Do As our Store Director, you will steer and inspire all departments across the store, each contributing to the dynamic and fast-paced atmosphere. You will be the driving force in leading the day-to-day functions of our store, with an entrepreneurial mindset to elevate along the way. You will proudly represent Simons by leading Area Directors, Department managers, and employees to deliver exceptional customer service, embodying the Simons vision. Lead & Inspire: Build a high-performance team by navigating the management team’s development to enhance their leadership skills, drive customer engagement, and foster an innovative sense of purpose. Drive the Simons Experience: Set the bar high and show your team what success looks like in the downtown Vancouver market, ensuring that all teams master the art of delivering the exceptional Simons service experience to every visitor. Optimize Performance: Achieve or exceed sales targets by implementing innovative strategies that drive profitability for the store, while actively pursuing operational efficiencies and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Deploy the Fashion Vision: You will ensure store presentation and merchandising delivers on our fashion leadership mission. You will lead the creation of captivating displays and manage inventory to ensure the store looks and feels exceptional every day. Amplify the E-commerce Strategies: Enhance the growth of e-commerce shopping services through rigorous execution, delivering a cohesive multi-channel experience that seamlessly integrates both online and in-store shopping. Maximize Relationships: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with cross-functional partners, internal and external vendors, and the downtown Vancouver community. You will be a true ambassador and represent the Simons brand with ease. What We’re Looking For We are seeking a natural leader who can seamlessly lead the excitement of fast-paced store operations, while upholding the renowned Simons family reputation since 1840. Your innovative outlook, passion for service, and knowledge of the Vancouver landscape will be key to your success. Experience in Retail Leadership: With 10-15 years in retail (minimum of 7 years in a leadership role), you have a proven ability to manage both people and processes effectively, particularly in fast-paced, high-traffic, demanding stores. A bachelor's degree or equivalent is required for this role; bilingualism is an asset. Agile Leadership: With your aptitude for exceptional planning and adaptability, you excel at managing large cross-functional teams in a busy setting. Your autonomous and flexible style enhances overall performance. Customer Service Passion: You know how to make Vancouver’s downtown diverse customers feel like part of the Simons family and ensure you create a strong sense of vision to inspire your teams to do the same! Strong Business and Financial Acumen: You understand the importance of analyzing performance reports, tracking metrics and using data to innovatively enhance processes and procedures. Please Note The Following Expectations Customer Service Focus: Experienced and enthusiastic about engaging with customers on the sales floor to provide outstanding service. Varying Hours: Open to a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays, to accommodate operational demands. Training: Available to commute to West Vancouver’s Park Royal Simons location for training prior to store opening. Please note that the typical hiring timeline for this position may be extended as we prepare for the opening of our new store in 2027. If you are selected, it may take 4 to 6 weeks before you are contacted. Salary range for this position: $89,000K - $140,000 The salary range provided is intended as a guideline and represents the anticipated hiring range for this position.
