*Job Summary* We are currently looking for a reliable and motivated *Local Truck Driver* to join our team for local deliveries and transfers within Kingsville & Leamington. *Responsibilities* * Operate24' stake/straight trucks to transport freight within designated local routes efficiently and safely * Load and unload freight using forklifts or other heavy equipment as needed * Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations * Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation for each trip * Adhere to all traffic laws, safety protocols, and company policies during deliveries * Assist with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and organizing freight * Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered *Experience* * Valid Ontario driver?s licence (*D licence preferred*) * Clean driver?s abstract * Experience driving straight trucks and/or commercial vehicles considered an asset * Ability to lift and move product when required * Dependable, punctual, and organized * Agricultural or greenhouse experience is an asset, but not required This position is ideal for candidates who prioritize safety, efficiency, and professionalism in their work as a Local Truck Driver.
