The technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and repairing automotive systems and mechanical units to manufacturer specifications. They also perform scheduled maintenance and provide guidance and instruction to apprentices.

Candidates must possess an Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification and have 3 to 5 years of experience. A valid driver's licence and a clean driving record check are required.
