Senior GitHub SME

Pay Range: CAD 55-60/hr Experience Required: 10+ Years Role Summary The Senior GitHub SME will serve as the strategic advisor and technical leader for GitHub Enterprise adoption, Developer Experience (DevEx), DevSecOps transformation, and AI-powered software engineering practices across the organization. This role will partner with executive leadership, including the CTO, CIO, Chief Digital Officer, and Engineering Management Team (EMT), to define and execute the enterprise developer platform strategy. The individual will act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders, driving modernization initiatives, standardizing engineering practices, improving developer productivity, and enabling secure software delivery through GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, and Azure ecosystem services. Key Responsibilities Serve as the strategic advisor for GitHub Enterprise adoption across the organization. Provide technical leadership for Developer Experience (DevEx) initiatives. Lead DevSecOps transformation and AI-powered software engineering practices. Partner with executive leadership, including the CTO, CIO, Chief Digital Officer, and Engineering Management Team (EMT), to define and execute enterprise developer platform strategy. Act as a trusted advisor to senior business and technology stakeholders. Drive modernization initiatives across the software engineering organization. Standardize engineering practices to improve consistency and efficiency. Improve developer productivity through platform and process enhancements. Enable secure software delivery using GitHub Enterprise, GitHub Actions, GitHub Advanced Security, and Azure ecosystem services.
