Purpose Dishwashers clean and store dishes, glassware and silverware used by food and beverage. Principal Responsibilities * Clean dishes according to Standards. * Cleans and organizes equipment and work area. * Control usage of store supplies. * Notify Supervisor of damage to or problems with equipment. * Control the use of dishwashing equipment, feed detergents and checks temperature controls * Safe and effective use of equipment. * Adhere to and comply with all safety regulations when handling hazardous materials according to MSDS. * Be fully aware of Fire and Emergency Procedure and your role therein. * Follow Chelsea grooming policy. Name Tag must be visible at all times. * Perform other tasks as assigned by Management. Key Result Areas Business * Service given should meet and/or exceed the guest service standards of the Chelsea Hotel. Customer Satisfaction * Answer any guest or employee questions or direct them to someone that can assist them. Ensure complete guest satisfaction. Process Improvement/ Productivity * Open communication with Managers to report challenges or issues. * All tasks are to be completed in accordance with the practices and policies of the Chelsea Hotel. Academic and Working Qualifications Working Experience * Previous dishwashing or stewarding experience an asset Soft Skills * Be able to work effectively on a team. * Strong work ethic. Language * Able to speak English.
