Automotive teacher responsible for the Youth Train in Trades program. Program runs in Semester 2. Red seal certification in Automotive and BC Teaching Certification required. Previous teaching experience in a secondary school Automotive program is an asset. POSTING DETAILS Position – Auto-Youth Train in Trades Schedule - Full time (guaranteed hours) Location – Aldergrove Secondary School Required Qualifications ABachelor of Education degree (Technology or Industrial Education concentration) or equivalent training Industrial education courses equal to 33 units which are relevant to prescribed curriculum including appropriate teaching methodology courses for the assignment Appropriate journeyman's status or equivalent (if CPP) Or equivalent training, or experience For your application to be considered, all required documents must be included: Resume Cover Letter (please elaborate on your experience) A copy of your Red Seal in automotive A copy of your transcript (official or unofficial) for your program A copy of the credential received after completing your teaching program A copy of your Certificate of Qualification (from the TRB to teach in BC) Email addresses for a minimum of three references (ideally, managers from your most recent/relevant role) For applicants who are in the process of completing their teaching program, some of the above documents may be 'pending' at the time of submission however, the application will still be considered.
