Jack and Roll Supervisor

Roles and Responsibilities: Supervise and coordinate all on-site activities, including rigging, lifting and jack & roll operations, as well as personnel management. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment. Monitor operations and adjust as necessary to optimize efficiency. Conduct regular inspections of equipment and lifting systems to identify any installation and maintenance or repair needs. Coordinate with all levels of management, staff and clients to ensure effective operational completeness. Train and mentor team members to enhance their skills and knowledge. Maintain accurate records of operations, equipment usage, and personnel performance. Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations and resolve any issues that may arise. Perform other duties as required. Skills and Requirements: 2+ years previous experience in a supervisory/lead role in the rigging and hoisting/jack & roll industry is preferred. Strong knowledge of rigging and jack & roll operations, lifting equipment, and safety protocols. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations. Proven ability to provide exceptional customer service to clients. Experience in training crew members. Strong leadership abilities with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with crew members, vendors, and clients. Lead by example in instilling a strong safety culture. Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Ability to read lift plans and site layout. Valid Class 5 with Q endorsement or Class 1 with Air Brakes is preferred. Journeyman, Boom Truck or Crane and Hoisting Apprentice is preferred. Requires 2+ years of supervisory experience in the rigging and hoisting industry with strong knowledge of safety protocols and lift plans. A valid Class 5 with Q endorsement or Class 1 with Air Brakes, and a Journeyman or Apprentice certification in Crane and Hoisting, is preferred.
