Your tasks at a glance You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately. You answer patients' questions and ensure the best service. You work closely with Optometrists. You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients. You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation. You confirm by phone post-operative appointments. You will be cross-trained as a Receptionist (once the initial training is completed). A clear view of your assets You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset). You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service. You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust. Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.). You are looking for a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where your ability to work in a team and excel at multi-tasking will be an asset. Important: You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français également (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients). Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday to Friday (start time between 7:00 am and 8:00 am, until 4:30 pm).
