This role sits within Laurentian Bank Securities. In this hybrid role, the individual will work closely with professionals from the Debt Capital Markets team. This collaboration will support the economic and market analyses required for financing and debt issuance activities in the capital markets. The analyst’s role is to leverage their research capabilities, analytical thinking, and data management expertise to support the Chief Economist and contribute to a broad range of activities that advance the objectives of Laurentian Bank of Canada (LBC). Responsibilities Participate in close monitoring of economic and financial conditions for LBC activities Take part in in-depth research and develop topics relevant to the fixed income market Participate to the development of fixed income-oriented reports Contribute to the building of economic scenarios and forecasts tied to strategic, regulatory and operational activities of LBC Actively engage in the building of presentation layouts and economic data management Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in economics and/or Finance Three years of relevant experience Master's degree completed or in progress: an asset Strong knowledge of macroeconomics Good understanding of fixed income markets CFA designation considered an asset Intellectual curiosity Strong analytical and research skills Proficiency in French and English*, both spoken and written Ability to manage fast-paced projects with a results-oriented approach Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages. Exigences

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Economics or Finance and three years of relevant experience. Proficiency in both English and French is required, and a CFA designation or a Master's degree is considered an asset.
