This role sits within Laurentian Bank. The selected candidate serves as an Analyst within the team responsible for credit portfolio monitoring and oversight activities. Responsibilities Participate in the production of dashboards used to monitor the performance of the Bank’s credit portfolios. Participate in the analysis of performance indicators related to the Bank’s credit portfolio. Produce analyses, interpret data, explain variances, and assess their implications on the Bank’s results. Participate in data quality analysis in collaboration with governance teams. Participate in the migration of various reports and publications to the new data model. Qualifications University degree in Data Science and Business Analytics, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Econometrics, Finance, or any other related field. Minimum of 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in Data Science or Risk Management. Specific Skills Strong knowledge of database querying and management using SQL, as well as specialized statistical tools such as SAS (Enterprise Guide), Power BI and Tableau. Ability to influence stakeholders and innovate in the solutions proposed. Ability to simplify and communicate complex ideas effectively. Knowledge of the banking industry, Canadian credit products, and credit risk management tools. Strong analytical mindset with a problem-solving orientation. Strong attention to detail and a meticulous approach to work. Bilingual* (English and French) Professional working proficiency in French and English languages required as position involves frequent written and oral communication on complex matters with internal and external parties in both languages.
