About the Company Larouche Campeau & Associés S.E.N.C. (LCA) is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support the design and delivery of building mechanical systems. The position is based in Ottawa, Ontario, serving clients across the National Capital Region, Outaouais, and the Greater Montreal area. LCA is an engineering consulting firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, structural engineering, and energy efficiency. Recognized for its technical rigor and client-focused approach, LCA delivers tailored engineering solutions to public and private sector clients, from concept development through construction. Responsibilities and Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Licensed Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) in Ontario (PEO) or eligible for licensure Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in building mechanical design Experience in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical systems design Experience preparing specifications and technical reports Strong verbal and written communication skills (English required; bilingualism an asset) Performing detailed engineering calculations (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, etc.) Developing models using AutoCAD or REVIT Producing construction drawings and technical specifications Preparing technical reports Only selected candidates will be contacted.

The Mechanical Designer will support the design and delivery of building mechanical systems. Responsibilities include performing detailed engineering calculations and developing models using AutoCAD or REVIT.

Candidates must have a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and be a licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario or eligible for licensure. A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in building mechanical design is required.
