À propos

LDS provides comprehensive, expert learning supports to children, youth and adults with learning challenges. Our primary program—RISE (Research-informed Individualized Student Education)—targets student-specific learning needs and provides one-to-one, customized, evidence-based, remedial instruction. Our mission is to empower children and youth with learning differences to recognize their unique strengths and develop tools to achieve confidence and success. Since 1970, LDS has served everyone, including the most vulnerable children in our community by making our programs financially accessible. LDS is focused on promoting community awareness and fostering a greater understanding of the issues and challenges faced by children with learning differences. Through early intervention, we make a transformative difference in the learning and life outcomes of students. Our ultimate goal is to effect system change with wide-ranging societal benefits.
