Watch Ledcor’s Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it’s like working for Ledcor and apply today to join the Ledcor Highways team in various locations across Ontario. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4c [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4c] Premiums * $3/hour AZ Premium when directed to operate equipment that require AZ * $5/hour Grader Operator premium (does not apply to employees holding the Grader Operator classification * $5/hour Snow plow premium * $1/hr Night shift premium Work Conditions * Local applicants will be given preference due to the location of the work * As we respond to various weather patterns, shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required * Work schedules will consist of either 5 consecutive days followed by 2 days off or 6 consecutive days followed by 1 day off, with daily shifts lasting 8 to 12 hours (Shop specific) * CLAC union position Essential Responsibilities * Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required * Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways year-round, including assisting with Labourer duties (pothole repair, guardrail repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.) * Work outside in all weather conditions Qualifications * Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs. on a regular basis, bending, kneeling, crouching etc. * Valid AZ or DZ driver’s license with air endorsement * Provide a copy of a 3-year commercial driver’s abstract * Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset #LI-NC1 Compensation $25.50 - $33.50 per hour This is the applicable wage range for this position. Individuals will be assigned a base wage within this range based on trade certification and/or apprenticeship level, industry experience, and work location. Remote, site-based positions may be eligible for additional incentives including but not limited to travel and accommodation allowances. Responsible for the year-round winter and seasonal maintenance of Ontario provincial highways. This includes operating snowplows, wheel loaders, and performing general labor tasks like pothole and guardrail repair.

Must possess a valid AZ or DZ driver's license with air endorsement and a 3-year commercial driver's abstract. Candidates must be physically capable of lifting 50 lbs and working in all weather conditions.
