Watch Ledcor’s Innovation, Culture and Community video to see what it’s like working for Ledcor and apply today to join the Ledcor Highways team in various locations across Alberta. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mdhNKGIZL4c Work Conditions : Applicants that are local may be given preference due to the location of the work (No Camp or LOA provided) As LHL is obligated to respond to various weather patterns, some shift work, on-call, and night shift will be required Will be provided a pay rate of $21.50/hr with increases based on experience Night shift premium $3/hr Year round employment Extended health, dental, pension and RSP plans Essential Responsibilities : Perform various highway maintenance tasks repair and installation of guard rails and highway signs using various hand tools including post pounders, tampers, augers, drills, ladders and other elevated work platforms Assist with traffic control procedures Perform preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment Perform other road maintenance duties as required Work outside in all weather conditions Qualifications : Successfully complete pre-employment drug and alcohol testing Physically able to perform demanding outdoor tasks and comfortable working at heights Strong knowledge and use of hand and power tools Must possess a valid Class 5 driver's license Provide a 3-year driver’s abstract ESC Fall Protection ticket is an asset but not required Additional Information Ledcor builds and maintains infrastructure in various industries including oil and gas, transportation, and mining.
