Are you an experienced Insolvency Counsellor looking for an opportunity to take your industry knowledge in a new direction? Legacy Auto Credit is seeking an experienced insolvency professional to develop relationships with Licensed Insolvency Trustees while helping consumers make responsible transportation and credit-rebuilding decisions. We are specifically interested in speaking with Insolvency Counsellors and other professionals who have worked directly with consumers navigating bankruptcy, consumer proposals and financial hardship. We're looking for someone who understands the insolvency journey, knows how important budgeting and financial education are, and genuinely enjoys helping people rebuild their financial future. The Opportunity You'll take the knowledge and relationships you've developed in the insolvency industry and apply them in a new way. Your role will have two major focuses: Trustee & Industry Relationships Develop and nurture relationships with Licensed Insolvency Trustees and insolvency professionals across Ontario Educate trustee offices about Legacy Auto Credit and the programs available to their clients Become a trusted resource for insolvency professionals whose clients need reliable transportation Maintain regular communication with our existing trustee relationships while developing new partnerships Represent Legacy Auto Credit professionally at meetings, events and industry functions Customer Financial Rehabilitation Our goal isn't simply to put someone into a vehicle. We want to help customers make a responsible decision that fits their financial situation and contributes to rebuilding their credit. You'll use your insolvency counselling experience to help customers: Better understand their budget and affordability Consider the financial impact of their vehicle decision Understand responsible credit rebuilding Establish realistic expectations about financing after insolvency Develop better financial habits as they move forward Feel comfortable dealing with a dealership that understands the challenges they've been through Who We're Looking For Our ideal candidate has: Previous experience as an Insolvency Counsellor or in a similar consumer insolvency role Strong knowledge of bankruptcy and consumer proposals Experience working directly with consumers experiencing financial difficulty Excellent communication and relationship-building skills A professional and empathetic approach Strong organizational and follow-up skills The confidence to develop new professional relationships An interest in moving beyond traditional insolvency counselling into business development and relationship management Previous automotive experience is not required. We can teach you the automotive and financing side of the business.
