DRS Pivotal Power is part of the Leonardo DRS Naval Electronics group and has currently over 30,000 fielded units boasting a field reliability of over 99%.Job Summary Reporting to the Director of Facilities and working closely with our Senior Director, Site Lead, the Senior Facilities Specialist will be responsible for all facilities maintenance and contracting. This position will coordinate internal work orders, maintenance requests, general renovations and coordinate external contractors as required. This role will report on site to our Bedford, NS office.As Senior Facilities Specialist, your main responsibilities will include: Perform a variety of facility related tasks in the areas of preventive and general building maintenance, carpentry, equipment construction, and courier or locksmith duties Responsible and accountable for producing quality work to prescribed standards, with a focus on continuous improvement to meet customer commitments on schedule and within budget Follow written work instructions.
