Our client, a highly prominent and well-established law firm, is currently seeking a Notary to join its real estate law team. In this role, the successful candidate will work on a wide range of real estate transactions, including the acquisition, sale, and financing of real estate properties. The candidate will be expected to possess not only the skills required to manage files in real estate law, but also the knowledge and experience necessary to draft, review, and negotiate various agreements, conduct and review title searches and off-title reports, review title insurance policies, and register deeds with the Land Registry. Experience in commercial leasing would be considered an asset. Requirements Member in good standing of the Chambre des notaires du Québec Minimum of 4 to 5 years of relevant experience (commercial real estate) Experience in title searches and reviewing title insurance policies Excellent command of French and English (spoken and written) Strong oral and written communication skills
