LeverageTek is actively seeking a Senior Manager, Financial Planning & Analysis for a 12-month contract with its Ottawa based customer. Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work fully remotely. Candidates must be available to work within Eastern or Atlantic time zones. Key Tasks Support the annual budgeting process for Operations, Finance Managers, and Corporate Services by working with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans Identify key business drivers and contribute to budgeting efficiencies that enable ongoing operational performance monitoring Attend finance and operational review meetings to support understanding of financial results, variances to budget, and financial performance Develop, maintain, and document financial models supporting forecasting, decision-making, program funding analysis, and cost-per-unit information Provide support for long-term forecasting, deferred revenue reporting, costing for proposals, ROI analysis, new revenue stream reviews, special projects, and ad hoc analysis Recommend improvements to finance practices, policies, procedures, and reporting processes while maintaining compliance with current finance requirements Engage with Information Systems and corporate services teams to support effective tools, reporting, data availability, and process efficiency Key Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, with demonstrated senior-level leadership Strong financial modelling, forecasting, budgeting, costing, and analytical skills with advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency Strong SAP experience, preferably in a legacy SAP environment Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline Strong technical knowledge of Canadian GAAP, preferably in a not-for-profit environment Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders Experience managing others or providing senior-level guidance and leadership Project management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously CPA designation is a strong asset Experience with Board, Cognos, Procura, or AlayaCare is an asset French-language ability is an asset Comfort working within a government-funded or not-for-profit environment is an asset Compensation Hourly Rate Negotiable This is an existing position vacancy.
