Autobody Technician

We offer flat rate with the opportunity to earn an additional production bonus based on efficiency. Overview/Responsibilities: * Assisting with disassembly and the overall production and mentor other technicians. * An understanding of vehicle systems and technology and the need to look up and follow OEM repair procedures as well as pre and post-scan of all vehicles and calibrate modules as necessary. * A team-oriented attitude with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced and collaborative work environment. * A demonstrated positive, work ethic and take pride in delivering a quality repaired vehicle * The ability to work under pressure and manage deadlines. * The ability to perform equipment audits to check for acceptable performance and detect faults and possible malfunctions. * Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repair tasks efficiently * Conduct heavy lifting as needed to handle vehicle parts and equipment * Collaborate with team to ensure quality repairs and customer satisfaction * Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working on vehicles Requirements: * Proven experience in automotive repair as an Autobody Technician. * Journeyperson or Red Seal certification required. * Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for repair work. * Preparing vehicles and vehicle parts for painting. * Masking and sanding of vehicles and parts prior to painting. * Buffing, wet sanding and polishing of painted vehicles. * Attend all daily and/or weekly production meetings. * Strong mechanical knowledge to diagnose and fix vehicle issues accurately. * Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks associated with the role. * Excellent attention to detail and ability to deliver high-quality workmanship. The Autobody Technician will perform high-quality vehicle repairs, including disassembly, diagnostics, and adherence to OEM procedures. They will also collaborate with the team to meet production deadlines while maintaining safety standards and mentoring other technicians.

Candidates must hold a Journeyperson or Red Seal certification and possess proven experience in automotive repair. Proficiency in using repair tools and performing physical tasks such as heavy lifting and vehicle preparation is required.
