Healthcare Professional - Sleep (full time) Calgary, AB, Canada | req32487 The Healthcare Professional is responsible for initiation of prescribed respiratory therapy in the office, or the client home including assessment, education, documentation, and follow-up to ensure equipment performance and client compliance. Promotion of products and services to referral sources, including educational in-services to medical/healthcare communities is an integral part of the job. What you will enjoy doing* In this role, you’d work closely with sleep therapy clients, helping them get started on PAP therapy and ensuring they’re comfortable, compliant, and seeing positive results from their treatment Most of your time would be spent meeting with clients in the clinic, conducting assessments, providing education, answering questions, and following up on their progress There’s also an in-home component, where you’d visit clients as needed to provide support, assess equipment use, and ensure therapy is working effectively You’d be responsible for documenting assessments, tracking outcomes, and monitoring equipment performance to support quality patient care Relationship building is a big part of the role, both with clients and with referral sources who trust us to provide excellent service You’d help promote our products and services by educating referral partners and maintaining strong professional relationships within the community Safety and compliance are important, so you’d ensure all activities are carried out according to company policies and safety standards As you grow in the role, you may also have opportunities to support the onboarding, training, and development of new team members as needed What makes you great* We’re looking for a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse with an active professional license Experience with CPAP therapy is a strong asset, and ideally you’ve worked with sleep therapy patients before Previous experience in homecare or a client-facing healthcare environment would be beneficial, and any sales or relationship-building experience is a plus Strong communication and customer service skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with patients and referral sources every day You’ll need to be organized and comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail The role suits someone who can work well under pressure, respond with urgency when needed, and stay focused on delivering excellent patient care Maintaining patient safety and confidentiality is critical, so we’re looking for someone who takes those responsibilities seriously Since there are occasional home visits, you’ll need a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record Why you will love working with us At Medigas, the healthcare division of Linde Canada, Inc., you’ll join talented and diverse people throughout Canada, all working hard to make a difference in our client’s lives and make our organization successful. Exigences
Candidates must be a Registered Respiratory Therapist, Registered Nurse, or Licensed Practical Nurse with an active professional license and a valid driver's license. Experience with CPAP therapy and a background in homecare or client-facing healthcare is strongly preferred.
