We are seeking a junior high science teacher who is passionate about teaching and learning. This position will commence on Tuesday, August 25th, 2026. We Are Seeking a Teacher Who builds strong rapport with students and creates a safe and caring learning environment; provides an engaging environment for students from a variety of backgrounds, including at-risk and educationally disengaged students; works collaboratively as part of an instructional team; has experience working in core courses (Grade 7-8 Science) has experience teaching options courses; is passionate about differentiating instruction and assessment for all learners; is an excellent written and verbal communicator; is well organized and willing to collaborate with a team about increasing student learning and success; has experience teaching the most recent Alberta Middle School Curriculum. The successful candidate will possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. J.T. The teacher will deliver Grade 7-8 Science and options courses within a student-centered environment. Responsibilities include collaborating with an instructional team to increase student success and creating a safe, engaging learning space for diverse learners.

Candidates must possess or be eligible for an Alberta Teaching Certificate and have experience with the Alberta Middle School Curriculum. Experience in differentiating instruction and working with at-risk or disengaged students is highly desired.
