The Yard Dismantler is responsible for properly removing all high-quality auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. What does a day look like for a Yard Dismantler? * Remove requested parts to fulfill orders on vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety conscious manner, * Label and tag each part to be placed in stock, * Check the quality and product type of the inventoried parts, * Participate in daily team goals, and * Other duties as assigned. What is the profile we are looking for? * Knowledge of automotive parts, * Hands-on job experience, * Ability to work in a team, * Must be able to lift 50lbs without restrictions, and * Must own and maintain all the tools necessary. Job Requirements Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is subject to intense physical labour, repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 50-75 lbs. Working Conditions: Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to extreme cold & extreme heat. The noise level is moderately loud.
