The Yard Dismantler is responsible for properly removing all high-quality auto parts and usable core parts in a safe, efficient, and proper manner. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who must work in a fast-paced environment, is hardworking, and who can successfully meet production quotas. You must be able to multitask, communicate well with others, have hands-on automotive repair experience with a knowledge of automobiles. What does a day look like for a Yard Dismantler? Remove requested parts to fulfill orders on vehicles within the suggested time constraints in a safety conscious manner, Label and tag each part to be placed in stock, Check the quality and product type of the inventoried parts, Participate in daily team goals, and Other duties as assigned. What is the profile we are looking for? Knowledge of automotive parts, Diploma in mechanics or bodywork (Strong Asset!), Hands-on job experience, Ability to work in a team, Must be able to lift 50lbs without restrictions, and Must own and maintain all the tools necessary. Job Requirements Essential Physical Demands/Work Environment: Sits, stands, bends, lifts, and moves intermittently during working hours. Is subject to frequent interruptions. Is subject to intense physical labour, repetitive lifting. Must be able to lift at least 50-75 lbs. Working Conditions: Employees are regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and occasionally exposed to extreme cold & extreme heat. The noise level is moderately loud. The Yard Dismantler is responsible for safely and efficiently removing high-quality auto parts and usable cores from vehicles to fulfill orders. They must label, tag, and verify the quality of inventoried parts while meeting production quotas.

Candidates need hands-on automotive repair experience, knowledge of auto parts, and the ability to lift 50-75 lbs. A diploma in mechanics or bodywork is considered a strong asset, and applicants must own their own tools.
