Job Details LMIA Status: Pending LMIA CIUSSS de l'Est-de-l'île-de-Montréal has applied for a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) and will be ready to extend an offer to a foreign worker once the application is approved. Languages French Education College/CEGEP Experience 1 to less than 7 months On site Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely. Work setting Chronic or long-term care facilities/centres Hospital or home for the aged Nursing home/home for the aged Tasks Assess patients' physical abilities Assist health care professionals Assist physicians in the assessment of patients Carry out treatment programs, under the direction of physiotherapists and/or occupational therapists, to rehabilitate patients with various injuries or disabilities Develop information materials for patients Examine the patient Follow through on treatment programs with patients Help physical therapists Make decisions on tests and procedures Position patients for treatments by chiropractor or machine Set up and dismantle equipment Supervise technical and support staff Administer evaluative tests and procedures Clean and maintain equipment Prepare and maintain equipment and supplies Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to standardized safety practices Plan physiotherapy programs Select appropriate exercises, apparatus and manipulations Collect statistics Maintain clinical and progress reports Confer with other health professionals Maintain inventory of equipment Conduct research in physiotherapy Document patient rehabilitation progress Perform general clerical duties Process files and paperwork Teach and/or supervise exercises to patients Order supplies and equipment Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Licensure by provincial or territorial authorities Computer and technology knowledge MS Excel MS Office MS Outlook MS PowerPoint MS Windows MS Word Functional expertise Professional accreditation Area of specialization Physiotherapy Security and safety Criminal record check Personal suitability Punctuality Client focus Efficient interpersonal skills Excellent oral communication Interpersonal awareness Judgement Accurate Dependability Excellent written communication Flexibility Initiative Organized Reliability Team player Creativity Health benefits Dental plan Disability benefits Health care plan Paramedical services coverage Vision care benefits Financial benefits As per collective agreement Long term benefits Long-term care insurance Maternity and parental benefits Other Benefits Learning/training paid by employer Other benefits Paid time off (volunteering or personal days) Parking available Travel insurance Variable or compressed work week Wellness program
