Adult and Continuing Education Teacher - Senior Cooperative Education - Night School

The London District Catholic School Board is currently accepting applications for: Adult & Continuing Education Senior Cooperative Education Teacher - Night School at St. Patrick Adult & Continuing Education The Successful Candidate Must have a Bachelor of Education Degree Must be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers Senior Co-Operative Education qualifications required Successful secondary teaching experience preferred Proficiency with D2L preferred Understanding of virtual teaching pedagogy Experience in a Catholic school preferred Previous experience in continuing education programs an asset A working knowledge of the Ontario Catholic Graduate Expectations, Ethical Standards for the Teaching Profession, and the Standards of Practice for the Teaching Profession A practicing Catholic with a strong and active Catholic Faith life Proficient knowledge & understanding of Ontario curriculum, evaluation & assessment techniques Current in understanding of research, integrating technology and best instructional practices Effective classroom management skills and ability to create a welcoming and safe Catholic learning environment for all student This will be a night class - Effective September 15, 2026 until June 17, 2027, Tuesday & Thursday evenings, 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. This course will be virtually delivered through synchronous, two-way instructional conferencing via VLE. Teacher availability: Please ensure you are available for the duration of the course every Tuesday & Thursday evening. Qualifications appropriate to the position are required. The teacher will deliver a Senior Cooperative Education course for night school students via a virtual learning environment. Responsibilities include managing a safe Catholic learning environment and utilizing synchronous instructional conferencing.

Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Education, be in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers, and possess Senior Co-Operative Education qualifications. A practicing Catholic faith and proficiency with D2L are preferred.
