Long haul truck driver

Education: Expérience: Education Secondary (high) school graduation certificate Tasks Plan or adjust routes based on changing conditions, using computer equipment, global positioning systems (GPS) equipment, or other navigation devices, to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions Address customers' complaints or concerns Professionalism in customer service Load and unload goods Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage and other equipment Perform brake adjustments Perform emergency roadside repairs Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses Air Brakes Endorsement Class 1/1F/A Licence (semi trailer trucks) Experience Experience an asset Workplace information On the road job Financial benefits Mileage paid Durée de l'emploi: Permanent Langue de travail: Anglais Heures de travail: 40 to 50 hours per week

Candidates must possess a high school graduation certificate and a Class 1/1F/A licence with an Air Brakes endorsement. Experience is considered an asset for this entry-level position.
